We have a great opportunity for an experienced Studio Co-ordinator/Artworker to join a leading manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of products to include, toys & games, gifts, homeware products. Their offices are based in the Essex area and they are working fulltime (5 days) in the studio. Offices have onsite free parking.

The role is a 50/50 spilt between coordinating the studio workflow and hands on production artwork. You will ensure effective communication of workflow and deadlines to the rest of the team while producing artwork and upholding brand and corporate guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the studio workflow management system and communication of workflow and deadlines to the rest of the team
  • Produce print/digital artwork when required
  • Ensure effective creative artwork production
  • Maintaining and upholding brand and corporate guidelines
  • Implementing and upholding all corporate and product branding on creative work
  • Teamwork and collaboration to align designs with overall business objectives
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Adaptability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices to enhance creativity and efficiency
  • Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks, implementing solutions that enhance productivity, creativity, and operational consistency
  • Revise and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and project requirements
  • Ensure all designs meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and project deadlines
  • Ensure all artwork is archived according to approved procedure
  • Adhere to all creative team policies and protocol

 

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Studio Administrator and Artworker or in a similar design role
  • Creative studio workflow management system experience – Mondays.com, Click Up, Jira or similar
  • Have artworking skills across print/digital some packaging a plus
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Effective project management skills – proven experience in project or resource management within a creative environment (inhouse experience highly preferred)
  • Experience of organising Creative Studio workflow systems specifically
  • Excellent organisational, multitasking, and prioritisation abilities
  • Confident liaising with design team to facilitate the most efficient working systems
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, colour, and composition
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts to stakeholders
  • The ability to meet project objectives and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
