Rate: £190–£210 per day via Umbrella
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

We are supporting a global content studio in their search for a Freelance Traffic Manager to oversee and manage workflow within a fast-paced content production environment. This is a UK based remote role working full-time hours for a leading FMCG brand. The Traffic Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects move efficiently from initiation through to completion, coordinating resources, schedules and communications across multiple teams to deliver high-quality content aligned with strategic business objectives.
Role Overview:
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain project timelines, resolve potential bottlenecks and uphold standards of quality and compliance throughout the content production process. This role requires detailed coordination across creative, marketing, production and external partners in a global studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organise and monitor the flow of work across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of content within agreed scope and budget

Coordinate with creative, marketing, production and external partners to schedule tasks and allocate resources effectively

Manage and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects simultaneously

Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets

Identify and resolve workflow issues or delays

Escalate risks and recommend solutions to maintain delivery standards

Anticipate potential bottlenecks and proactively address challenges

Ensure adherence to company policies, brand guidelines and legal requirements throughout the content creation process

Maintain documentation and audit trails

Collaborate with project managers and other key personnel to support continuous improvement in traffic management processes

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency

Proven experience in traffic or project management within marketing, advertising, studio or content production setting

Proficiency in relevant project management and workflow software tools (e.g. Asana, Trello, or similar)

Proficient in using digital tools such as Microsoft Office Suite

Familiarity with content production processes and marketing campaign lifecycles
