Freelance Midweight Video Editor – Paid Social (Fashion Brand)

Day Rate: £250 (via umbrella company)
About the Role
We are looking for a Freelance Midweight Video Editor to support an exciting paid‑social campaign for a well‑known fashion footwear brand.
This is a fast‑paced project requiring someone confident with Meta‑first creative, performance‑led editing and high‑impact storytelling.
The role is ideal for an experienced midweight editor—or a strong junior ready to step into midweight responsibilities within the paid‑social space.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Meta paid social ads with performance and conversion in mind
- Work from supplied storyboards, bringing concepts to life through animation, motion design and dynamic editing
- Apply current social‑native trends, pacing techniques and best practices
- Produce fast, thumb‑stopping content while staying aligned to brand guidelines
- Collaborate remotely with internal teams for feedback and delivery
Must have
- Advanced Figma skills
- Advanced AFX skills
- Advanced Video Editing skills
- Advanced Meta Paid Social experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience editing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) paid ads
- Strong understanding of performance‑driven creative
- Proficiency in creating animated, high‑impact social assets
- Awareness of current editing trends, motion styles, and social‑native creative
- Ability to work quickly, independently, and to deadline
- UK‑based and available for full‑time hours (9:00–17:30) during the project
