Junior Digital Video Producer

Our client is an award-winning media company broadcasting documentaries, livestreams, and destination / lifestyle content to inspire a global audience. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Digital Video Producer to join their channel team working on creative production, filming and editing. This is a hybrid role (3 days in office), studio is based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in scheduling, planning, and coordinating content—both pre-recorded and on-location
  • Organise shoot logistics, book travel, and liaise with crew, presenters, and stakeholders
  • Support on-location shoots, operating cameras, lighting, and sound equipment
  • Maintain the programming schedule and ensure content is delivered on time
  • Coordinate with editors to review, provide feedback on, and approve video drafts
  • Upload and publish content using our CMS, ensuring all metadata is accurate and complete
  • Source and liaise with guests and contributors
  • Draft briefs, interview outlines, and scripts
  • Schedule and host Teams pre-records or live calls when needed
  • Pitch and develop ideas for episodes, series, and themed content
  • Research destinations, guests, and stories to inform shoots
  • Contribute to scripts, storyboards, and new creative formats
  • Help source visuals, thumbnails, and promotional materials
  • Keep internal calendars, task lists, and file systems updated
  • Ensure contracts, release forms, and legal documentation are completed
  • Support with invoices, budget tracking, and production paperwork

 

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in video production, livestreaming, or content creation (required)
  • Degree in Film, Television Production, or similar (preferred)

 

Required Skills

  • Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro essential)
  • Experience with camera operation, lighting, and sound setup
  • Excellent English writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop preferred)
  • Understanding of content workflows for YouTube and social media
  • Exceptional work ethic—self-motivated, dependable, and committed to quality
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple projects
  • Adaptable and able to work outside regular hours when required
  • Passionate about travel, culture, and producing meaningful content
