Our client is a leading retail display production agency based in London. Thry are looking for an experienced Creative Project Manager to manage end‑to‑end delivery of creative retail display and visual merchandising projects. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role, working across design, production, fabrication, and installation for projects ranging from bespoke builds to large‑scale retail rollouts.
The role requires regular off‑site and out‑of‑hours work for site visits, installations, and supplier meetings. Their studio is based in London and they are go into the office full time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial client brief through to production, installation, and delivery
- Act as the main client contact, managing expectations, approvals, and relationships
- Brief and manage 2D/3D Designers and communicate designs to production teams
- Oversee sampling, materials, fabrication, costing, and production processes
- Plan timelines, critical paths, and installations
- Create and manage budgets, quotations, and cost tracking (Excel essential)
- Coordinate internal teams, freelancers, and external suppliers
- Ensure quality, profitability, and smooth delivery across all projects
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar creative or production‑led environment
- Strong client‑facing project management experience
- Design or creative background
- Experience with retail display / 3D visual merchandising
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication, print, and prop making
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, CAD, or similar
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and numeracy
- Confident Excel user
- Hands‑on, proactive, and solution‑focused
- Strong aesthetic judgement and creative problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident working independently and within a small, dynamic team
